BLOCKED

Cushion

These cushions are inspired by the incredible weavers of the Bauhaus and Black Mountain Schools and the geometric designs they produced. I play around with different colour combinations for every iteration of the Blocked cushions, sometimes based on the flowering camellia outside my studio, or a photograph or other images that pop up in my week.

Woven in cotton and wool. The cushion insert is made from 100% PET fibre, which is derived from recycled water bottles.
